Sometimes you just need to get away

Living at the same place I go to school has caused me to be more closed in then usual. Instead of having friends from many different places, they are all from my little meredith community. But I think it is important to have a 3rd place; somewhere I can get away to and do things that are out of my everyday norms. I dont have a car so when I was trying to find somewhere that I can go I was automatically pushed to find somewhere that is with in walking distance or accessible by bus. This sunday my roomate and I went to Forest Hills Baptist Church and I realized it could be my third place! They have a good sized youth group with many different activities planned throughout the week. For example this weekend I will be going with the youth group to Kings Dominion and I can not wait! :) I'm glad that I've finally found somewhere new to go with BOYS there :P
