I was shocked to find out how important sleep is to our bodies. The poor rats DIED after 5 days of not sleeping, I wonder what exactly sleep does for our bodies though. I'm going to keep in mind the fact that when a person sleeps they have a better memory of things, this is a great tool for studying. It is really important that people do not drive when they are tired because it has such a huge effect on awareness. I have experienced the sudden mood swings that lack of sleep provides, I think it's one reason sleepovers are so fun :P
Not only is sleeping important for body function, it is also very cute :)
